Lightning Protection Fitter

Due to a period of rapid growth our client is seeking the addition of an Experienced Lightning Protection Fitter to join their talented team! If you have a background in Lightning protection and grounding and want to expand your horizons, then this may be the job for you! The successful candidate will receive a starting salary of up to c£40,000. Due to the nature of this position candidates must be comfortable with working away on a weekly basis. Roles & Responsibilities * Installation, inspection, testing and repairs of a wide variety of lightning protection equipment * Assist with specialist testing of all equipment * Plan the installation of various equipment around difficult to access areas * Ensure that sites are fully compliant with H&S standards * Work closely with the site supervisor to ensure site inspections are carried out correctly for all earthing and lightning equipment Skills & Qualifications * Previous experience Within Lightning Protection or grounding fitting necessary. * 2391 Inspection & Testing or Electrical based qualification desirable * Full UK Drivers License essential * Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills About Express Recruitment Express Recruitment has been offering exceptional recruitment solutions across the East Midlands since 1987, “exceeding expectations every time” of over 267,000 candidates.
