Stuctural Engineer

Are you an experienced Structural Engineer ready to step into a senior role? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and technically strong Structural Engineer or Senior Structural Engineer to join a growing Leeds team. The successful candidate will contribute to high-profile projects across a wide range of sectors, from multi-million-pound developments to complex structural assessments, shaping the built environment with a truly multidisciplinary consultancy. What You'll Be Doing Lead and support structural design across diverse projects, from concept to detailed design and delivery Deliver high-quality calculations, reports, and design packages in compliance with Eurocodes Conduct structural assessments and Building Safety Act compliance work, including site investigations Oversee and mentor junior team members, promoting professional growth Act as the client-facing engineer, managing projects to programme, budget and quality expectations Collaborate with in-house architects, M&E, and sustainability teams in a 3D/BIM environment Carry out site visits, inspections, and contractor liaison during construction stages What We're Looking For MEng/BEng/MSc in Structural or Civil Engineering (with relevant UK experience) Chartered or near Chartered (IStructE or ICE) Strong background in design across all key materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry) Proficient in structural software such as TEKLA Structural Designer, TEDDS, MasterSeries Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM processes Confident communicator with experience in client-facing roles and project delivery Commercial awareness and understanding of sustainability in design Full UK driving licence In return and in addition to a competitive salary you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus the option to buy or sell, competitive pension scheme and private healthcare.
