We are recruiting on behalf of a trusted client for multiple Mechanical & Electrical Site Operative positions across a variety of construction sites in the North East , including Newcastle and surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for operatives of all experience levels from improvers and mates to qualified tradespeople to join an established team delivering high-quality M&E installation works.

The Role:

Assist in the installation of containment, cabling, lighting, pipework , and other building services
Work to technical drawings and specifications under supervision
Support snagging and quality assurance processes
Follow site health & safety procedures and report any issues
Collaborate with senior trades, engineers, and supervisors on daily site activities

What We're Looking For:

Valid CSCS card (or ECS card for electrical operatives)
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a mechanical or electrical trade military technical qualifications also considered
Desirable (but not essential): 18th Edition , F-Gas , JIB Gold Card
A strong work ethic, team-focused attitude, and a commitment to safety
Especially suited to those with a military background (REME, Royal Engineers, RAF, Royal Navy)
