Personal Care Assistant

Personal Care Assistants - Oldham:

Are you driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education? We are currently working closely with a SEN high school who are looking to appoint personal care assistants to support children with complex needs.

The role will consist of

• Proving tailored personal care support and working with children with SEN and complex needs
• Personal care is involved - toileting, feeding and changing
• Poolside hydrotherapy sessions

Position Details:

• Location: Oldham
• Position: Personal Care Assistants
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time only
• Minimum Rate of Pay: 95 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: September 2025
• End date: Ongoing, Long-Term

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience of supporting SEN and Complex Needs in an school or care setting
• Candidates MUST hold proof of training for manual handling and hoist
• Hold a Childcare/Heath & Social related qualification

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
