Job Advert: Chef - Children's Nursery

Are you an experienced and passionate Chef looking for a rewarding opportunity to showcase your culinary skills? Our client, a well-established children's nursery, is seeking a dedicated Chef to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for adhering to dietary requirements and creating delicious and nutritious meals for the children. As a valued member of their team, you will contribute to the children's well-being through your culinary creations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and cook meals that meet the dietary requirements of the children at the nursery.

Ensure all meals are nutritious, delicious, and visually appealing.

Develop menus that incorporate a variety of flavours and incorporate seasonal ingredients.

Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and clean cooking environment.

Collaborate with the nursery team to meet the needs and preferences of the children, including those with allergies or special dietary considerations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chef in a child-centric environment or a similar role.

Ability to understand and accommodate dietary requirements, allergies, and restrictions.

Strong culinary skills with knowledge of different cooking techniques and procedures.

Excellent organisational skills to manage food preparation efficiently.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Enthusiasm for creating nutritious and appealing meals for children.

Working Hours and Benefits:

The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 9am to 3pm, providing an excellent work-life balance. In addition to competitive compensation, our client offers a supportive and friendly work environment where your ideas and creativity will be valued.
