Mechanical Fitter

Position: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Stonehouse

Working hours: 39 flexi start and finish between the hours of 7:30 am to 06:00 pm

Type of work: contract 6 months

Hourly rate: GBP16.00 to GBP18.00 per hour PAYE

We are now seeking to recruit a mechanical fitter for a busing bespoke build manufacturing company based in Stonehouse. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for fitting unique and custom-designed machinery or equipment.

This opportunity will allow you to receive expert training on bespoke machinery and the ability to work as part of a team in fitting these bespoke products.

Responsibilities:

• To fit and assemble machine parts accurately to engineering drawing.
• Use hand tools and power tools to fit and assemble components
• Conduct routine inspections of fitted parts

Requirements

• Previous mechanical fitting background.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles
• The appropriate candidate will have the ability to interpret technical drawings
