Programme Lead Lecturer - Building Services Engineering (Electrical)

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our Further Education client in the Construction Department for a Programme Lead Lecturer specialising in Building Services Engineering (Electrical) . About the Role

As Programme Lead Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across a range of full-time and part-time programmes, including Construction T-Levels (core and occupational specialisms). You'll work closely with the Programme Area Manager to plan and monitor courses, track learner progress, and implement improvements to support the management of learning.

You'll be teaching subjects such as:

  • BSE Electrical Installation Systems & Testing/Inspection
  • BSE Construction Design Principles
  • BSE Construction Maintenance Principles
  • Health & Safety in Construction

A broad understanding of the wider construction sector is highly desirable.

What We're Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals with:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical or equivalent
  • Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) certification , or willingness to work towards it
  • A full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above (e.g. Diploma in Education and Training, Cert Ed, PGCE)
  • Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C/4 or above or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Experience in leading course provision and coordinating internal verification
  • Strong ability to evaluate course performance using quality indicators
