CMM Operator

My client is an international manufacturing organisation, with a fantastic reputation in a multitude of different industries including O&G, Marine and Renewables.

They are looking to add a CMM Operator to their team. This role will be based from their site in West Lothian, and will be a Monday - Friday dayshift position (Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00; and Friday 07:30 - 13:00). The hourly rate will be 17.89. There is a bonus scheme, and overtime available.

What will the role involve?

To carry out dimensional inspections of connectors and other machined products on the co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM) to ensure conformance to drawing tolerances
Performing manual measurements of first-off and production parts
To prepare and complete accurate first-off dimensional records of inspection results
Creating accurate non-conformance reports in a timely manner
Maintaining a fast-paced production machine shop and inspection environment

Experience required:

Experience in a similar engineering environment and in a similar role
CMM measuring of connectors, machined parts, and other manufactured products
Knowledge and experience in the use of PcDmis CMM software would be advantageous
