We're Hiring: Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) - Major Infrastructure Project Location: Midlands Company: Teir 1 contractor Sector: Rail Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Excellent Package 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Managing and coordinating the daily technical and engineering activities for a specific sublot Focus on civil engineering construction The work involves the construction of viaducts, underbridges, overbridges, river diversions and retaining structures. ✅ What We're Looking For: Degree-qualified engineer (Chartered/Incorporated preferred) with strong civil engineering background in live rail environments Proven expertise in design, construction, compliance, and quality management of complex infrastructure projects Familiar with railway standards (e.g. NR/L2/CIV/003, NR/L2/INI/02009) Temporary Works (BS5975) CDM & CSM-RA Skilled in technical procurement, subcontractor oversight, and multidisciplinary coordination Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities Competent in overseeing engineering activities across safety, cost, quality, and programme 💼 What's on Offer: Highly competitive salary & performance bonus Career-defining projects with a top-tier contractor Supportive leadership team with a long-term vision Opportunity to work on the UK's biggest infrastructure project.
