Child Support Worker

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual seeking a rewarding career in mental health support? Randstad is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Carlisle and West Cumbria. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of 15- 16, with an immediate start available. You will be making a significant impact on the lives of children with disabilities and/or autism. This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours of work per week, with flexibility to travel across Carlisle and West Cumbria.

Experience working with children with disabilities and/or autism is essential. Peg feeding experience is also required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to implement and follow care plans effectively
• Proficient in personal care assistance, including peg feeding
• Strong record-keeping and documentation abilities

While relevant qualifications are desirable, they are not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided. However, the following are mandatory:

• Full UK driving licence (essential for travel across Carlisle and West Cumbria)
• PMVA (BILD) certification
• Mandatory training certificates
• Enhanced DBS check (on the update service)
