Platinum Recruitment are currently working with a well known, sustainable cosmetics company that require a Temporary Packaging Designer to cover them on a short-term basis in Gillingham, Dorset.

What's required?

• Briefing suppliers & liaising with them on tooling projects
• Signing off technical drawings & reviewing samples
• Providing a packaging risk assessment
• Requesting line trials & liaising with the production team on new projects
• Liaising with the purchasing team to request initial costs, lead time and MOQ details
• Assessing testing requirements
• Conducting transit trials and signing off
• Reviewing artworks and providing technical feedback
• Attending first off production runs to sign off packaging
• General admin; briefing change requests, e-filing drawings and development data

Experienced needed?

• Related degree
• IOP diploma
• Over 5 years of experience within a packaging development role
• Experience of working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc)
