Laboratory Manager

CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Manager, to join our client based in Penryn, Cornwall. This is a permanent role, where the successful candidate will lead the recently established analytical testing facility. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm.

The Laboratory Manager Role:

Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory.
Ensure that all analyses are conducted efficiently and accurately.
Management of a small team of skilled scientists and technicians.
Responsible for implementing and overseeing health and safety protocol.
Maintain all lab equipment, ensuring calibration, traceability, and audit readiness.
Liaise with project managers regarding analytical requirements.

Your Background:

Degree qualification in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
3-5 years of laboratory management experience in analytical chemistry.
Experience of managing, supervising or training staff.
An RPS qualification or be willing to undertake the relevant training.
