FP&A Analyst

FP&A Analyst - Borehamwood - £40,000-£45,000 + benefits I'm working with a fast-moving business in Borehamwood that's looking to bring in an FP&A Analyst to support their growing commercial finance team. It's a broad role in a business where finance has a genuine seat at the table. What you'll be doing: * Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning * Preparing monthly management accounts with supporting commentary * Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations * Analysing key variances and investigating trends * Working with non-finance teams to explain the numbers and influence decision-making * Improving and automating existing reporting where possible * Supporting ad hoc projects and financial modelling as the business grows What they're looking for: * A solid grounding in month-end - ideally from a management accounts or analyst background * Strong Excel skills and attention to detail * Someone commercially curious, confident communicating with non-finance teams * Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (or qualified by experience - they're open) * Local enough to be in the office 2-3 days a week Why it's worth considering: * Genuinely growing business with a strong commercial focus * Supportive and switched-on Head of FP&A * Good mix of core finance and commercial exposure * Hybrid working, friendly team, and plenty of scope to develop If that sounds like the sort of next step you're after, happy to have a chat and tell you more.
