Are you passionate about quality and compliance? Do you have a background in electronics and a desire to make a real impact across multiple manufacturing sites? Were looking for a proactive and detail-driven Quality & Compliance Engineer to join a growing UK-based electronics manufacturer as they launch a new, state-of-the-art facility.

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you'll ensure products and processes meet the highest quality and regulatory standards, supporting operations across several UK sites. A strong foundation in electronics manufacturing is highly desirable, and a valid UK driving licence is essential due to the need for regular site visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement quality standards across electronics production and processes

• Conduct audits and inspections in line with ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 14001

• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)

• Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and other key departments

• Support export control licensing and regulatory compliance

• Travel regularly to sites in Ilminster, Melksham, Basingstoke, Bedford, and Thetford

What We're Looking For

• Degree in engineering, quality management, or equivalent experience

• Background in electronics manufacturing is highly desirable

• Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001)

• Proficient with quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, Kaizen)

• Experience in internal/external audits and export control licensing

• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and effective communicator

• Full UK driving licence is required due to some multi-site travel
