Job Title: Team Leader Children s Residential Home
Location: Oswestry, Shropshire
Salary: GBP15 per hr plus GBP67.50 sleep-in allowance and bonuses
Hours: Full-time, 2 on 4 off rota

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an established and values-led provider, supporting young people aged 8 17 with emotional, behavioural, and social needs. The home provides a safe, therapeutic environment where children are supported to recover, develop and thrive.
About the Role:
As Team Leader, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, while also providing hands-on care and guidance to both staff and young people. You ll lead by example, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and emotional support at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of residential support workers on shift
Build strong, therapeutic relationships with young people
Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and daily records are up to date and followed
Promote a positive, structured, and nurturing home environment
Support with rota planning, staff supervision, and mentoring
Act as a positive role model and uphold the home's ethos and values
Requirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent essential)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Experience working in a children s residential setting
Strong leadership qualities, with a calm, confident approach
Commitment to safeguarding, therapeutic care, and positive behaviour support
