Are you passionate about the Build to Rent industry and helping clients find their perfect home? My client is looking for a highly motivated Lettings Assistant to join their dynamic team and grow with the UK's leading provider of single family housing.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the Build to Rent sector, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to tenants while developing your career in property management.

What You'll Be Doing

Tenancy Management:

  • Process new tenant applications from start to finish
  • Manage the complete tenancy journey including referencing, contract preparation, check-ins, renewals, and check-outs
  • Progress applications through the referencing process, ensuring prompt responses to all actions
  • Oversee tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and notices to vacate

Client Service Excellence:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for tenants throughout their tenancy
  • Provide outstanding customer service during the entire renting process
  • Resolve tenancy-related queries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate diaries and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously

Compliance & Administration:

  • Ensure all contracts are issued in accordance with current landlord legislation
  • Maintain compliance with Right to Rent checks, deposit protection, and safety certificates
  • Complete accurate record capture and data storage on CRM/property management systems
  • Generate reports and tenancy updates for internal use
  • Keep up to date with changes in lettings legislation and implement necessary process changes

End-to-End Process Management:

  • Manage end-of-tenancy processes including deposit returns and dilapidation claims
  • Ensure all tenancy documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to date
  • Handle paperwork, contracts, and documentation related to property transactions
What They're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in lettings or lettings administration
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple customers and properties simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Administrative skills to handle complex documentation and processes
