Refrigeration Engineer

Job Title: Refrigeration PPM Engineer Location: West Midlands (Mobile – Regional Travel) Salary: £42,000 per annum + Company Van + Overtime + Benefits Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent Sector: Commercial Facilities Management About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration PPM Engineer to join our growing facilities management team. This is a mobile role covering a portfolio of commercial sites across the West Midlands. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned preventative maintenance (PPM) services on a range of refrigeration systems within client environments. Key Responsibilities * Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial refrigeration equipment, including cold rooms, chillers, and display units. * Perform fault diagnosis, minor repairs, and system performance checks. * Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards and statutory compliance. * Complete job sheets, service records, and maintenance reports accurately and on time. * Liaise with clients and site contacts to ensure smooth delivery of services. * Provide technical support and escalate more complex issues where necessary. Requirements * City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent. * F-Gas certification (2079) is essential. * Proven experience working on commercial refrigeration systems. * Strong understanding of PPM schedules and asset maintenance. * Full UK driving licence. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
