Our client, a leading social housing contractor, is seeking an experienced Plumber to fit wet room trays and bathroom suites in Accrington and surrounding areas of Lancashire.

This is a social housing project with the possibility of follow-on work

Plumber Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of wet room trays and full bathroom suites in occupied social housing properties
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants
• Working independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
• Other aspects of plumbing

Plumber Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing or Bathroom Fitting
• Valid CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience within the Social Housing sector
• Competence and experience in fitting wet room suites
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and professionally

I hope you're well. I've tried to reach you a few times this week and just wanted to check if you're still looking for a plumber for the position we discussed.

I ve advertised at GBP20/hr, but the response has been less than expected. After reviewing similar listings online, it seems those roles are being offered at higher rates. To be competitive, I suggest increasing the rate to GBP22/hr, with a charge rate of GBP24/hr (excluding VAT).

If this works for you, I can update people I have already considered and relaunch the advert to see if we can start attracting more suitable candidates.
