Production Supervisor


Our Client is a proudly independent Scottish salmon farming company with a global reputation for quality, sustainability and innovation. Opportunities have now become available for proactive and hands-on Production Supervisors to join their fish processing team based in Dingwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the high standards that the business is known for, working closely with the Production Manager to lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Why you’ll love this role * A starting salary of £36k pa, increasing to £38k pa after completion of probation * Monday to Friday, nightshift role rotating an early/late start shift pattern * Be part of a values-led company with a strong reputation for quality and sustainability * Work in a supportive, collaborative environment where you will benefit from a thorough 3-month induction plan allowing you to learn all aspects of the operation * The opportunity to grow within a respected Scottish brand * Benefit from 30 days holiday per annum, pension and annual company bonus scheme What you’ll be doing * Coordinating daily processing operations to meet production targets and customer expectations. * Leading, motivating and training the team, providing clear direction and constructive feedback. * Conducting quality checks, ensuring compliance with food safety, environmental and company standards while addressing any issues quickly and effectively. * Promoting a culture of safety and ensuring adherence to health & safety protocols. * Accurately completing quality documentation and maintaining traceability. * Inputting customer orders into the processing system and ensuring timely dispatch. Our ideal candidate * Previous experience in a production or processing supervisory role, ideally within food or FMCG. * Solid understanding of safety, quality and compliance in a manufacturing environment. * Strong leadership and communication skills with a calm, decisive approach. * Computer literate, with confidence using Microsoft Office and production systems. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * A hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a busy environment.
