Within the Care in the Home division, we support clients with spinal cord injury to live independently in their own homes.

We'd like you to join us as a Live In Support Worker in the Water Orton area.

Meet the client:

Our client has a passion for martial arts and has a strong interest in fitness. He loves a bit of banter and is looking for a support worker with a good sense of humour. His home has beautiful surroundings and enjoys his carers feeling comfortable there.

In his down time he likes surfing the internet and catching up on correspondence. It is important to him that he has a driver to keep him as independent as possible.

What you'll be doing:

• This role is to support our male client with a spinal cord injury within his own home
• You will move into the client's home and support him with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities

When you'll be working:

• Regular assignments with this client
• Assignment length 2 weeks at a time

What you'll have:

• Kind and caring nature
• Flexibility & reliability continuity of care is imperative for our clients
• Good communication skills
• Our client requires support with driving, therefore you must hold a full UK drivers licence
