SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Islington
Salary: GBP90 to GBP110 per day
Contract: Long-term, Full-time
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive school in Islington . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive SEN setting and is passionate about nurturing young people with additional needs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support students with SEN across the curriculum, ensuring they are engaged and making progress.

• Implement strategies tailored to the individual needs of pupils.

• Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to ensure effective learning.

• Promote student independence and confidence.

Candidate Requirements:

• SEN experience, ideally in a classroom setting.

• Calm, patient, and empathetic personality.

• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

• Team player with a positive attitude.
