Client Details AB Mauri are a division of Associated British Foods. They are a globally recognised and respected manufacturer. Description Develop UK H&S and Environmental functional strategy and broader sustainability strategy, balancing local priorities and global initiatives, ensuring alignment to business strategy and priorities. Provide advice and guidance on upcoming and existing legislative and regulatory requirements, standards and best practice, ensuring business compliance at all times Ensure HS&E processes, practices, tools and ways of working align fully to, and enable the delivery of, the achievement of business strategy in a safe and sustainable manner. Support Functional leaders and managers develop their HS&E functional improvements and ongoing performance through role modelling, coaching and guidance. Maintain HSE management systems, including legal registers, developing local HSE policies and procedure reflecting changes in local legislation and global initiatives Profile Complex, multi-process, multi-product manufacturing and engineering experience, in a fast paced, regulated environment. Food industry manufacturing standards, processes and regulatory frameworks Proven track record of HS&E functional strategy development, deployment, and sustained performance improvements Strong Environmental and Sustainability experience, delivering impact mitigations and initiatives Detailed knowledge of HS&E practices, procedures and methodologies, equally comfortable operating at strategic, tactical and operational levels Risk Management within a BCP and crisis management frameworkJob Offer Car allowance included as part of the package Chance to make a significant impact on safety and environmental practices Supportive company culture focused on professional growth and development
