Salary: 90- 105 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Croydon this September. Whether you're an experienced LSA, a recent graduate, or exploring a career in education, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference.



About the Role:

As an LSA, you'll work closely with pupils who require additional support-whether due to learning difficulties, mild SEN needs, or emotional/social barriers. Your role will involve working 1:1 or in small groups, supporting students in lessons, and helping them to access the curriculum confidently.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support under the direction of the teacher

  • Assist students with learning activities, both in class and during interventions

  • Adapt materials and offer differentiated support when required

  • Build positive relationships with students and promote independence

  • Work as part of a wider pastoral and inclusion team



Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with young people (in school, tutoring, youth work or similar)

  • Positive, patient, and proactive attitude

  • Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills

  • Able to manage behaviour calmly and supportively

  • Passionate about supporting student progress and inclusion
