We are currently recruiting strong Maths and Science Graduate Teaching Assistants for school in North London. Roles are full time, long term, and will be to start in September 2025.

Responsibilities for Maths and Science Graduate Teaching Assistant include:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting classroom learning.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEN, helping to reinforce learning.
• Support the development of students' academic skills and personal development, fostering social and emotional growth.
• Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare and organise teaching resources to support lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to track student progress and implement learning strategies.

About you:

• Educated to degree level in Maths, Science, or a related STEM field.
• Have previous experience within a school setting or have child related experience.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and a professional and friendly approach.
• Have knowledge/experience supporting children within special educational needs.
• School based experience preferred but not essential.

Ideally you will already have some experience working with young people, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher. Maybe you are taking a year out before doing your Masters or a PGCE?
