SEN Teaching assistant

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Wandsworth from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children who have a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities. Location: Wandsworth, South East London Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Salary: £95-£110 per day (dependent on experience) Key Responsibilities Support the learning and emotional development of pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or group basis Assist the class teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment Implement personalised learning strategies and behaviour support plans Monitor and record student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents Requirements: Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting) Strong understanding of the needs of children with autism and other learning difficulties A calm, patient, and resilient approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: A welcoming and inclusive school community Opportunities to progress within SEN education Convenient location with good transport links (DLR, rail, and bus) Please submit your CV and we will be in contact regarding your application
