Facilities Director - Shipyard Operations - Relocate to Saudi Arabia! Location: Yanbu, Saudi Arabia Full-time | Permanent Senior Leadership Role Competitive Salary + Benefits (including international relocation and living expenses covered) About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Facilities Director to oversee and optimise the systems, infrastructure, and services of a busy shipyard operation. This high-impact leadership position is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and adequacy of plant systems, facilities maintenance, and auxiliary services, including site cleaning, waste management, and temporary storage. You'll play a critical role in aligning operational objectives with business strategy while driving performance and reliability across all shipyard assets. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a strategic maintenance program for all shipyard facilities and equipment. Manage and monitor maintenance of key systems including cranes, electrical equipment, dry docks, and workshops. Oversee repairs, inspections, and scheduled servicing to reduce downtime and enhance operational efficiency. Analyse performance trends, prepare budgets, and drive cost optimisation initiatives. Coordinate with internal and external service teams to ensure seamless support for production needs. Maintain master data, monitor productivity metrics, and ensure compliance with inspections and government regulations. Lead, mentor, and motivate a multidisciplinary team, ensuring performance objectives are met.What We're Looking For: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Master's preferred). 9+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with a hands-on approach to complex operational challenges. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and teams.
