Estimator - Facades

LT-AD-ALB Facades Estimator Location: Essex (with flexible working – 1 day WFH tbc) Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 per annum (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Performance-based bonus | Pension scheme | Training & development | Flexible working subject to probationary period A market-leading specialist contractor in the design, fabrication, and installation of complex façade and external envelope systems is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team. Working on high-profile UK projects valued between £1m–£30m, this company partners with top-tier main contractors including Mace, Multiplex, and Sir Robert McAlpine. With a strong pipeline of prestigious work, this is an ideal opportunity for a commercially astute estimator to join a dynamic and supportive team. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for complete façade/envelope packages (e.g. cladding, curtain walling, glazing, rainscreen systems) * Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation * Liaise with suppliers and specialist subcontractors to obtain and assess pricing * Identify value engineering opportunities and participate in risk reviews * Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless handover from pre-construction to delivery * Attend client and tender meetings as required Candidate Requirements: * Minimum 4years’ experience estimating within the facades or external envelope sector * Strong knowledge of façade systems, materials, and construction techniques * Experience working on tenders for Tier 1 main contractors (Mace, Multiplex, McAlpine, etc.) * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail * Excellent communication and time management skills What’s on Offer: * £60,000 – £75,000 salary, based on experience * Flexible working (including 1 day WFH per week) * Performance-based bonus structure * Clear and achievable career progression based on your success and contributions * Company pension scheme * Ongoing investment in training, development, and upskilling * Opportunity to work with an innovative, highly respected specialist on some of the UK’s most exciting construction projects Apply Now If you’re a driven Facades Estimator ready to take the next step with a business that values expertise, flexibility, and long-term career development — we’d love to hear from you
