About the Role - Trainee Mortgage Advisor Cardiff

As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor in Cardiff , you'll be embedded within a high-performing estate agency branch, generating mortgage business from a constant stream of quality leads. You'll be mentored and trained by experienced Mortgage Advisors, learning every aspect of the mortgage sales process and developing the skills needed to become a fully qualified and successful Mortgage Broker .

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, consultative mortgage advice to a broad client base in Cardiff .
• Build strong relationships with estate agency staff and referred clients to generate mortgage appointments.
• Conduct detailed client fact-finds to assess financial positions, lending criteria, and property goals.
• Research and recommend suitable mortgage and protection products.
• Work closely with lenders, solicitors, and internal teams to ensure a smooth mortgage journey.
• Provide regular updates to clients, ensuring excellent customer service from application to completion.
• Hit and exceed realistic performance targets and KPIs.

Candidate Requirements:

• CeMAP 1 qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• A passion for property, financial services, and customer service.
• Previous experience in sales or a target-driven, customer-facing environment is highly advantageous.
• Professional, articulate, and confident communicator with strong listening skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Clean credit history and no CCJs or bankruptcies.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a desire to become a top-performing Trainee Mortgage Broker in Cardiff .
