This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading conservation contractors, working on some of the country’s most iconic historic structures across London and the South East.   Perfect for an experienced Estimator who thrives on complex, detail-driven projects involving stonework, façade repair, traditional crafts, and listed building restoration — and wants to be part of a company that truly values heritage, quality, and innovation.   What You’ll Be Doing (The Role) Leading the preparation of competitive and negotiated tenders for high-profile conservation, restoration, and façade packages Reviewing specifications, drawings, surveys, and site conditions to produce accurate and detailed cost estimates Liaising with clients, heritage consultants, and internal teams to ensure clear understanding of project scope Managing procurement of specialist materials and subcontractor pricing, ensuring value for money Contributing to bid strategy, value engineering, and technical proposal development Supporting the pre-construction process through to handover with delivery teams About You Proven experience as a Senior Estimator (or experienced Estimator ready to step up) within heritage restoration, traditional construction, or specialist façade works Deep understanding of listed building requirements, conservation principles, and materials like stone, brick, timber, lead, and lime mortars Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage complex tenders from start to finish Strong commercial judgement and communication skills with clients and professionals Proficient in estimating software, MS Excel, and industry-standard take-off tools Passionate about craftsmanship, history, and delivering high-quality work on culturally significant buildings About the Company This award-winning specialist contractor is renowned for its expertise in heritage restoration, conservation, and building renewal across London and the South East.
