Site Services Technician

Site Services Technician Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and hygienic environments? We’re currently seeking a reliable Site Services Technician to support cleaning operations across a unique site that includes offices, canteens, warehouses, and specialist areas such as veterinary suites and animal care units. What You’ll Be Doing: * Carry out daily cleaning tasks across multiple site zones: offices, reception areas, canteen, security rooms, warehouse, and more * Operate laundry equipment, wash and organise clothing/PPE, and ensure supplies are well stocked * Assist in maintaining hygiene standards in veterinary and animal room environments (training provided) * Complete cleaning documentation and follow site procedures precisely * Conduct regular checks on alarms and report safety issues or equipment faults promptly * Respond to site needs with flexibility—callout support and overtime may occasionally be required What We’re Looking For: * Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to routine tasks * Strong communication and time management skills * A team player with the ability to work independently and manage their schedule * Previous cleaning or manual handling experience is preferred * Comfortable working in an animal research facility * Valid UK driving license Training & Development: * Full training provided, including ISO standards, manual handling, fire safety, and biosecurity protocols * Optional courses such as Emergency First Aid and Fire Warden Training available. * Opportunities for professional development and CPD tracking This is an opportunity to join a specialist team where your contribution helps maintain the high standards necessary for both staff wellbeing and animal care.
