Production Manager / CI manager Oil Processing Stratford-upon-Avon | Full-Time, Permanent £60,000 – £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits About the Role We’re hiring a results-driven Production Manager reporting in to the operations director to oversee daily operations and drive long-term performance at our oil processing facility based in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a key leadership role where you’ll focus not only on smooth day-to-day production but also on delivering strategic improvements across safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll lead a multi-functional team and be empowered to champion process improvement and embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the site. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all production operations from intake to dispatch, ensuring safe and efficient processes * Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, downtime, and inefficiencies * Lead KPI tracking and performance reporting to drive data-led decision-making * Promote and embed continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, etc.) * Foster a high-performing culture across production, engineering, and support teams * Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards (ISO, HACCP, etc.) * Support and lead capex projects, automation initiatives, and site optimisation strategies * Manage staffing, shift planning, training, and development * Collaborate with leadership, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain seamless operations * Conduct investigations, root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as a Production Manager or Operations Lead in a process manufacturing setting (e.g., oil, food, chemical, FMCG) * Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality systems, and lean manufacturing principles * Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and leading cultural change * Excellent people management, mentoring, and communication skills * Hands-on approach with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and performance metrics * Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, production planning, and inventory control * NEBOSH/IOSH qualification (desirable) What’s on Offer * £60,000 – £75,000 base salary (depending on experience) * Performance-based bonus scheme * 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays * Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with flexible working hours where needed * Company pension & benefits package * Opportunity to make a real impact in a growing and forward-thinking manufacturing business Apply Now If you're a proactive and experienced Production Manager ready to lead a high-performing team and deliver real change in a dynamic oil processing environment, we want to hear from you.
