Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Experienced in Behaviour Support Location: Camden, London Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Salary: Competitive, based on experience Start Date: Immediate or September 2025 (flexible for the right candidate) Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a strong background in behaviour support? A welcoming and inclusive school in Camden is looking for a dedicated TA to join their supportive team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of students with complex needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with diverse special educational needs Use effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support positive outcomes Build trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and emotional development Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to support holistic learning Foster a calm, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports every pupil's progressCandidate Requirements Minimum 6 months' experience in an SEN or behaviour-focused role (essential) Proven behaviour management skills with a calm, empathetic, and consistent approach A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs reach their potential Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain oneWhy Join Tempest Education?
