Head of Geo-Environmental


Vacancy No 5349 Vacancy Title Head of Geo-Environmental Location: Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home Vacancy Description Are you an experienced geo-environmental specialist ready to step into a leadership role? Our client is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Head of Geo-Environmental to take charge of their established but growing department. This is a key management position where you’ll be responsible for delivering a wide range of services — including ground investigations, waste assessments, and geo-environmental testing — while developing your team and helping shape the future of the business. What the role involves: * Managing day-to-day operations across both lab and site-based services * Leading and developing a technical team with a supportive, hands-on management style * Monitoring budgets, analysing KPIs, and ensuring profitable performance * Preparing and reviewing reports to ensure high technical and quality standards * Building and maintaining strong client relationships * Contributing to business growth and strategic direction, including client development and proposal writing * Ensuring compliance with UKAS, ISO 17025, internal quality standards, and all relevant health & safety policies.
