Analytical Development Scientist

SRG are looking for an Analytical Development Scientist for a role with our client who are a global manufacturer of pharmaceuticals. The Role: Ensuring all analytical work (method transfer/development, formulation support, method validation, technical batch stability, etc) is performed and reported within agreed timelines Performing routine analysis to support formulation development and assist in the transfer of methods to QC Write and present scientific data in updates for clients and take part in technical discussions Identify deviations and faults in analysis or instrument performance and troubleshoot issues Assist with investigations into technical challenges at a laboratory level Reviewing routine analytical data generated by colleagues within the Analytical Development group Liaising with other departments internally as well as clients and customers Take ownership of lab equipment responsibilities and interact with suppliers Author reports, SOPs and other process documentation as required Work within regulatory guidelines Requirements: Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a relevant science related discipline Strong technical skills in analytical methods including HPLC as an essential requirement Experience within a similar laboratory environment, ideally a CDMO or CMO Prior experience of working in a fast-paced environment where you are used to thinking on your feet Understanding of working in a regulated environment Must be able to demonstrate organisational skills and technical knowledge Strong communication skills Benefits: The client offer an comprehensive benefits package with an excellent pension, health insurance and additional lifestyle benefits among others.
