A contractor specialising in architectural metalwork is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis in Essex.

Salary: 45,000 - 60,000
Start Date: ASAP
Work Arrangement: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities
Preparing accurate cost estimates and take-offs for architectural metalwork packages
Reviewing technical drawings and specifications using Excel and Bluebeam
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information
Supporting the pre-construction team with budget planning and tender submissions

Requirements
Previous estimating experience within the construction or metalwork sector
Proficient with Excel and Bluebeam
Ability to interpret architectural and fabrication drawings
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Projects
Estimating packages valued up to 4 million.
