Commercial Gas Engineer / Chiller and Boiler Specialist Engineer
.
Our client operates nationwide, supporting commercial, industrial, private, and public sector clients with temporary heating, cooling, and hot water solutions. With ambitious growth plans and a commitment to innovation, they are now seeking a driven and knowledgeable individual to support the ongoing development of their operations.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a supportive and experienced team, working across a variety of sites installing, maintaining, and servicing commercial temporary boiler systems and air-cooled chillers. You will also be involved in modifying existing pipework in older plant rooms.
Key Duties Include:

Installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial temporary boilers and chillers

Diagnosing and resolving faults on chilled water systems, AHUs, and forced draft burners
-
Modifying existing plant room pipework
-
Regular travel to client sites - a company vehicle will be provided

Supporting less experienced engineers and contributing to ongoing training

Ensuring all works are completed in line with safety and compliance standards
Key Requirements:
-
Strong background in commercial mechanical systems, including:
-
LTHW systems
-
Chilled water systems
-
Natural gas and oil-fired boiler systems
-
Control wiring and electrical services
-
Experience with air-cooled chillers and AHUs
-
Relevant qualifications, including:
-
Commercial Gas Safe certification
-
F-Gas refrigeration certification
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Based locally to either the Kent or Redditch depot
-
Flexibility to support call-out rota and emergency work as required
-
Willingness to undergo a DBS check (some client sites require clearance)
