Female Therapy Assistant

THIS IS A UK BASED POSITION, TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE ,IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT:

1. You have UK work experience with at least 6 months experience working as a support worker or in a similar position.
2. Your CV clearly shows your relevant experience and qualifications.
3. Experience with Brain Injury Support is advantageous
4. A full clean UK driver licence and access to a car that your able to use for work purposes.

NSS PLUS LTD-NeuroSupport services are currently recruiting Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with a background of Brain Injury and Mental health experience to support services users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and in enabling people to optimise independence and quality of life.

We are looking for psychology graduates,support Workers and Healthcare Assistants or suitable candidates who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping our clients access the community. We are looking for candidates that are confident with working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.

Job Title: Female Therapy Assistant
Location: Hertford, SG13
Hourly Rate: GBP12.50-GBP14 per hour depending on experience.

Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours:

Monday: 6 hours - 9am to 3pm or 10am to 4pm

Wednesday: 6 hours - 9am to 3pm or 10am to 4pm

Friday: 6 hours - 9am to 3pm or 10am to 4pm

About you-Essential Experience:

Therapy Assistant with experience in
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Managing cognitive and psychological disorders

About our client:

Our client a 58-year-old female, who has an acquired brain injury. She is seeking a Therapy Assistant who will be able to support her with the following activites:
- Accompanying her to the gym and community access
- Accompanying her to the local allotment
- Completing therapy programs set up by therapists
- Supervising meal preparation (prompts with planning and organising)

Successful Candidates will:

• Have access to full online yearly Training
• Will be subject to Full Enhanced DBS
