The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement activities within a growing manufacturer, ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials and services. This role involves managing supplier relationships, cost optimisation, and supporting the supply chain function. Description As the Purchasing Manager you will, Lead and manage procurement team, coaching and developing to build performance and capability Review the current supply chain against quality, cost, delivery metrics, and supporting action to re-source, or build closer partnerships Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, planning) to align procurement strategies with business needs Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain Provide visibility of the value created to senior management team Profile The ideal Purchasing Manager profile will have, Proven experience in procurement supporting a growing manufacturer Skilled developing and engaging a team, raising performance Proven in managing metals biased spend portfolios Capable of improving systems and processes, to remove non-value add activityJob Offer A competitive salary of approximately £65,000 to £70,000 per annum.
