IT Support Engineer Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Fully Remote with frequent travel to sites Please note: A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. About the Role We're looking for a motivated and skilled IT Support Engineer to join a growing team. In this dynamic, home-based role, you'll play a key part in supporting an internal IT environment, delivering high-quality technical support, driving IT improvements, and leading small projects. Working within a cloud-first, Microsoft 365-based infrastructure, you'll help ensure the systems are secure, reliable, and user-friendly. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving, takes pride in excellent service, and wants to contribute to a business with strong values and a clear mission What You'll Do Provide first and second-line support for users across the business Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and connectivity issues Manage support tickets with clarity and professionalism Onboard new users, configure devices, and manage account access Maintain and support laptops, mobile devices, and cloud services Monitor and enhance IT security and endpoint protection Lead or contribute to small internal IT projects Document support procedures and create user guides Collaborate with other teams to improve the IT experience for all What You'll Bring Proven experience in a first/second-line IT support role Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Intune) Proficiency with Windows 10/11, networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Experience with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) account management Solid understanding of endpoint security and IT best practices A customer-first mindset and the ability to prioritise effectively Clear communication skills and a patient, helpful approach A proactive attitude and ownership of tasks and small projects Bonus Points For Experience in supporting remote or hybrid work environments Familiarity with scripting tools like PowerShell Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or similar If you are interested and looking or your next role, please apply with a copy of your CV, or email (url removed)
