Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant (12-month FTC) Location: Wolverhampton (Hybrid) Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Benefits Start: Immediate or up to 4 weeks' notice We’re currently supporting a leading manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton in their search for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is a backfill for a key team member who has been seconded to a major ERP implementation project. We’re ideally looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), but we are also open to experienced QBE applicants with a strong technical background in financial accounting. The Role As Financial Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a range of technical accounting tasks, working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Key responsibilities include: * Group month-end reporting * Treasury management and cash forecasting * Intercompany transactions and reconciliations * Foreign exchange (FX) accounting * Transfer pricing compliance * Fixed asset accounting * R&D spend tracking and tax credit claims * Support with strengthening and embedding internal controls This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a complex, international manufacturing environment and build valuable experience in technical finance areas.
