HGV Multi-Drop Driver (5.5t)

We are seeking reliable and motivated HGV Multi-drop Delivery Drivers (5.5t-7.5t) to join our growing Transport operation. As a key player in our delivery process, you will be the face of the company and responsible for delivering our customers orders in a polite and professional manner. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, has a strong sense of responsibility and someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service day in, day out!

We aim to give the majority of our drivers their own route, or cluster of routes, which means you will get to know your customers and build strong relationships with them, becoming their trusted face of the business.

Shift - 5 days a week ( including weekends ) starting between 3:30am-6:30am

Salary - GBP33,926 per annum

All of our vehicles are preloaded by our nights team ready for you in the morning to start your day as soon as you get to site. Your daily duties will include:

• Completing mandatory vehicle checks, reporting any defects to the Transport management team
• Maintaining a clean vehicle, ensuring it is topped up with fuel ready for the following day
• Unloading the order at customer site ensuring delivery notes are followed
• Collecting orders both from customers and suppliers as needed by the Purchasing team
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policy

We are looking for someone who has:

• A valid UK manual driving licence, CPC and TACHO card (Essential)
• Good geographical knowledge of London, Greater London and the South East
• Confident driving in and around London, Greater London and the South East
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
• Good physical stamina, as the role involves lifting up to 25kgs
