Residential Agency Team Leader (Warwick)


Godfrey Payton are an independent property business with 3 offices across the Midlands providing services to clients within the rural, residential, commercial and development land sectors.

The Partners are now seeking to recruit a motivated and progressive individual to lead the firm's residential sales instructions working as part of the professional team from our Warwick office. Building on the firm's longstanding heritage and brand, the role will require the individual to work closely alongside existing staff within the business to secure sales and letting instructions, list properties effectively, lead the marketing and promotion of the sales instructions, secure good successful outcomes for clients and oversee the administrative processes to conclude the instructions.

The lead individual will be expected to maintain excellent client relationships, working in an efficient and organised manner to build upon a solid foundation of existing residential property sales and lettings instructions. The Role

Full-time, 37.5 hours, predominantly weekdays with occasional Saturday working and time off in lieu.

Client facing (with new and existing clients of the firm), and a proven ability to secure instructions and subsequently progress and conclude sales.

A highly organised, efficient, reliable and punctual approach.

Conduct viewings, liaise with sellers, buyers, solicitors, and other professionals.

Keeping CRM software and other relevant software updated

A personable manner to get the most out of other members of our residential sales and lettings teams.

The ability to develop relationships with client and other key contacts.

Overseeing and assisting with the residential lettings and managed lets portfolio

A clear understanding of statutory and legal requirements for estate agency businesses

An opportunity to lead and grow the sales and lettings business across a multi-office platform, and to drive forward a strategy for growth of the department with a clear focus and defined objectives.

Position Requirements

MNAEA or MARLA (or equivalent)

Ability to assess sales and lettings marketing and sale values.

Driving Licence (essential)

A structured and efficient approach, and an excellent communicator

Well presented, with good negotiation skills

Broad knowledge of Warwickshire and surrounding areas (not essential)

Good IT literacy and MS Office skills

Benefits and Package

Competitive basic salary GBP27,000 to GBP35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
