Teachmatch are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Outdoor Learning HLTA to join our client school in Gloucester. In this unique role, you will help shape and deliver a rich, hands-on curriculum that supports the social, emotional, and educational development of their KS4 students. About the Role: You will work with small groups of students to plan and lead sessions focused on: * Outdoor education * Life skills * Learning beyond the classroom Your work will help students: * Build positive relationships with staff and peers * Engage with their local community * Develop confidence and resilience through practical learning experiences What We're Looking For: Essential Criteria: * Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy. * Significant experience working with children and young people with complex needs. * Ability to work independently and confidently in varied settings, sometimes unsupervised. * Calm, empathetic, and resilient under pressure, especially when managing challenging behaviour. * Strong organisational skills. * Inclusive, non-judgemental approach to working with young people. * Understanding of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and other learning barriers. * Competent in using technology, including email, internet, and Microsoft Office. * Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and commitment to child protection. * Full driving license and willingness to transport students.
