Purchasing Analyst

SF Recruitment have partnered with an organisation in Coventry who are recruiting a Purchasing/Procurement Analyst on a permanent, site based basis. Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours on site Salary: £30-£35k Responsibilities include: - Manage the end to end billing analysis for specific customers within the business. - Running daily reports and collating the data to reconcile on a weekly basis against the system driven invoice. - Where possible review data prior to issuing any invoices or other correspondence to ensure any discrepancies are identified, investigated and rectified before reaching the customer. - Reporting to include identifying trends, potential problems and opportunities and propose and implement ways in which performance can be improved. - Be able to communicate effectively with Suppliers, Customers and all internal departments. - Creating purchase orders, Goods Receipt, and confirming system records. - Maintaining and monitoring the supplier database with ensuring all supplier contracts and information is held and stored correctly. - When required arrange stock checks within the warehouse, ensure systems match. - Supplier Set up and Creation, ensuring the correct processes are completed and all onboarding checks verified. Updating supplier details. - Produce Weekly reports on savings achieved across various categories. - Manage day to day supplier performance for a small number of suppliers
