Sales Manager – Construction Equipment (Romania) Location: Romania (Field & Office-Based) Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent Contract Salary: RON 200,000 – RON 361,700 gross (based on experience) Package Includes: Annual bonus, vehicle allowance, expenses paid, laptop & phone, full Romanian social benefits Elite is proud to be partnering with a global leader in construction machinery solutions, currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to cover the Romanian market. As the Sales Manager, you will take ownership of driving new business, managing key customer relationships, and growing market share for a premium brand in the heavy machinery sector. This role offers a blend of field-based relationship development and strategic sales planning — ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for the industry. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Drive machine sales growth in your assigned region Identify and develop new sales opportunities across construction and infrastructure sectors Maintain a robust customer pipeline and manage ongoing relationships to secure repeat businessCustomer Engagement Conduct regular client visits to build rapport and assess customer needs Deliver product presentations, quotations, and tailored commercial proposals Provide aftersales support in coordination with internal departmentsReporting & Strategy Report weekly to senior management on sales activity, pipeline, and performance Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform local strategy Develop and execute a strategic regional sales plan aligned with company goalsIndustry Representation Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and regional meetings Promote the company’s image and customer service standards in all external interactionsCandidate Profile Experience & Background Minimum 3–5 years' experience in sales, ideally in the construction equipment or heavy machinery sector Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets Experience with OEMs, dealerships, or capital equipment is preferredSkills & Knowledge Solid understanding of the Romanian construction equipment market Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills Excellent verbal and written communication in Romanian and EnglishPersonal Qualities Self-motivated, proactive, and confident in working independently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Able to travel regularly within the territory Full driving licence requiredTech Savvy Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Comfortable using digital tools for communication and reportingWhat’s on Offer Competitive gross salary: RON 200,000 – RON 361,700 depending on experience Annual performance-based bonus Vehicle allowance Laptop, mobile phone, and work tools provided All business travel fully expensed Health insurance and pension support (Romanian social package) Access to training and global development opportunitiesThis is your chance to join a growing global brand, make a direct impact in a key European market, and be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
