SEN Support Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm, Friday 8:30am-4:00pm
Contract: Term Time Only
Start Date: Interviewing as soon a possible for September 2025.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join our specialist school, providing vital support to students with a range of additional needs.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to help create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in children's lives.

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with special educational needs

• Support pupils with a range of complex learning, emotional, or physical needs

• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies

• Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

• Support with personal care, mobility, and communication needs where required

• Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress

• A valid Child & Adult Workforce Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to the rural location of the school)

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Calm, patient, and adaptable attitude
