Meachanical Fitter - Gearboxes

Are you a skilled Gearbox Fitter looking to join a long-standing specialist in the industry?

Metalis are currently supporting a trusted name in the industry, working with global names like Tata Steel, Dulux and Heineken.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Mechanical Industrial Gearbox Fitter, you'll be:

Stripping and rebuilding Helical, Worm, Bevel Helical, and Spur gearboxes
Working on units ranging from 150kg to 10 tonnes
Supporting a wide range of sectors including Steel, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Water Treatment, Wind Turbines and more

Working Hours

Mon - Thurs: 7:30am - 4:00pm (30 min break)
Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm (no break)
Plenty of overtime and weekend work available

Salary: 32,500 - 38,500 DOE

What We're Looking For

4+ years of experience in gearbox fitting
Ability to handle heavy industrial gearboxes confidently
A driving licence is preferred
