Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school located just 25 minutes from Derby city centre. They are looking to appoint a History Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

You'll be teaching History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 , delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that bring the past to life. The school has a strong humanities department, supportive leadership, and a genuine commitment to staff development and student success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering dynamic, inclusive History lessons

• Supporting pupils to reach their full academic potential

• Managing the classroom effectively and positively

• Contributing to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities

• A qualified History Teacher (QTS or equivalent)

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching

• A commitment to inspiring students through engaging content and creative approaches

• A positive, flexible attitude and strong behaviour management skills

• A welcoming and collaborative working environment

• Ambitious and motivated students

• Ongoing CPD and professional development support

• Easy commute from Derby and surrounding areas
