Early Years Assistant

Location: LS2, Central Leeds
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (12 weeks)

We are currently working with a large independent private day nursery in Central Leeds to find a Level 3 Early Years Assistant for a 12-week block booking . This vibrant nursery is passionate about outdoor play , creative learning , and offering a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and grow.

• Assisting in the care and development of children aged 0-5 years

• Supporting child-led activities, both indoors and in the nursery's expansive outdoor play area

• Encouraging creativity and imagination through play and exploration

• Working closely with a supportive team to maintain a high standard of care and learning

• Contributing to planning and delivering fun, engaging, and educational activities

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

• Recent experience in a nursery or early years setting

• A passion for outdoor learning and creative play

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work well in a team

• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willing to apply)

• 12-week block booking with full-time hours

• Supportive, friendly team with access to excellent resources

• Strong emphasis on outdoor play and child-led learning
