The Sales Lead will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to promote a whole-school approach to prevention education. The role aims to expand reach, acquire new school clients, and build sustainable relationships with stakeholders, including schools, parents, children, funders, and local businesses. The post holder will also contribute to a strong social media presence and support recruitment and management of student teams for designated projects.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Support & Leadership

  • Support senior leadership in shaping and reviewing the organisation's vision, mission, and values.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to drive business development and growth.

Marketing

  • Design and implement a strategic marketing plan for the prevention education programme.
  • Identify target audiences and develop tailored messaging.
  • Use various channels to increase engagement and visibility.

Sales

  • Develop a sales strategy focused on acquiring new school partners, especially in areas aligned with programme strengths.
  • Conduct market research, generate leads, and manage outreach efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities with local and regional businesses.
  • Support development of sustainable income streams aligned with the organisation s mission.

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and marketing.
  • Produce regular progress reports with data-driven recommendations.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with schools, parents, children, funders, local businesses, and university partners.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the organisation at external events and meetings.

Team Contribution

  • Play an active role as part of the management team, contributing to policy and strategic planning.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times.

Professional Development & Change Management

  • Stay informed on national and local developments relevant to the role.
  • Support and promote change initiatives within the organisation.

Administration

  • Carry out administrative tasks required for the role.
  • Take on other responsibilities as required.
